The lungs are air-filled organs, spongy. It is located on either side of the chest. It breathes in the air with the help of the trachea, which conducts inhaled air to the lungs. PFTs: This is a series of tests that help to diagnose how well the lungs are functioning. It tests the capacity of the lungs, the ability to transfer air between blood and lungs, etc.

Lungs biopsy: It is used to diagnose lungs by taking out a small piece of tissue from the organs through bronchoscopy or surgery. This tissue is then placed under the microscope to check the condition of the lungs.
