The TB pcr test in Delhi is done to check the presence of both latent and active tuberculosis bacteria. In fact, PCR is considered to be a highly sensitive and effective testing method. Tuberculosis development happens in three stages:

• Primary infection is when the person is first exposed to the bacteria. This can be due to visiting places where tb infection rates are high or working with patients infected with tuberculosis.
• Latent infection is the presence of the strain even after the primary immune system of the body. The bacteria remain in a dormant stage and the person is not contagious. Often people infected with tuberculosis carry the bacteria and it does not reactivate.
