A negative CBCMP test result means that you don’t have malaria disease. However, you may need to go for a retest if you have malaria symptoms, but the test findings were negative. The malaria parasite in the collected blood sample could be absent.
The amount of malaria parasites in the body might fluctuate. So, throughout the course of two to three days, your doctor may advise CBCMP tests every 12-24 hours for properly diagnosing malaria and prescribing a treatment plan.
